Elin Dress
Reminiscent of the Elsa bustier and dress, this design keeps the same ribbon shoulder ties but as per the Matilda dress, has a shirred back component. The Elsa, Elin and Matilda dresses are fully lined and use 100% cotton. The weight allows for structure and the quality is finished for a soft hand-feel. All trims are made from 6A grade 100% silk satin. Murlong Cres offers fit options for various body types, including the original Elsa (featuring a back zipper), the Elin (similar to the Elsa but with enhanced stretchability) and the Matilda, which provides both improved stretchability and upper arm cover.
Matilda Dress
Due to the success of the Elsa dress - as seen on Nara Smith and Elsa Hosk - Murlong Cres wished to develop this design by offering two further styles: Matilda and Elin. For Matilda, the signature shoulder ties are replaced with fully lined puff sleeves. This alternative design provides a solution for those wanting more cover over the shoulders and upper arms. The brand’s usual ribbon straps were moved to the waist, allowing for an hourglass silhouette. We also decided to add a back shirring panel for improved sizing and flexibility.
